Providing a prevention and rehabilitation program in the community allows the participants to face life without mind-altering substances. This is accomplished in an everyday setting that is proactively geared to support them at all stages of their recovery. This may include: crisis services, residential detoxification, a structured outpatient program (one on one counselling and group therapy) and/ or aftercare services. They can learn to take on life’s challenges and will be supported in all areas of their lives in the environment in which they are likely to continue their lives.
